About us
Wirtschaftsprüferkammer (WPK) is a corporation under public law whose members are all German public accountants (WP), German sworn auditors (vBP), German public audit firms (WPG) and German firms of sworn auditors (BPG). Wirtschaftsprüferkammer is based in Berlin and is responsible for its approximately 21,000 members throughout Germany. The tasks of Wirtschaftsprüferkammer include, in particular, representing the interests of its members, the professional supervision of its members, the implementation of the quality control procedure and the auditing examination as well as the maintenance of the professional register.
