The Board of Management [Vorstand] of the WPK has been monitoring the developments in the field of artificial intelligence very closely for some time. At its meeting in July 2024, the Board of Management therefore decided that the WPK should support and accompany its members in this area. For this purpose, it was decided to set up a Board Committee [Vorstandsausschuss] on Artificial Intelligence (VKI).
The VKI was constituted on 27 September 2024 and defined the future tasks and priorities, which include the preparation and publication of the following questions and answers on the use of artificial intelligence in audit firms.
